EMPATHY BUILDING WORKSHOP

 

This virtual Empathy Building workshop leads participants through an interactive, immersive learning experience on diversity, equity and inclusion, why it matters in the workplace, and empathy-building skills to create inclusive work cultures.

Our take on the traditional unconscious bias training, this workshop frames the conversation with a positive approach, and focuses on building healthy behaviors and habits.

And as new habits take time to form, this 6-week series includes 1hr workshops, of which weekly lessons build on each other. 

Participant Takeaways: 

  • Learn and practice empathy and inclusive communication skills

  • Understand diversity, equity and inclusion

  • Develop an action plan to mobilize learnings (personal and collective action steps)

Cass has been a great guide on this journey. The smaller break outs were a good way to meet new people and learn more about colleagues in a new way.

Cass was great! She has a confident, unwavering, pleasant disposition. She's not afraid of hard conversations. She's really good at acknowledging that everyone's experience is different and valid so no one felt excluded or offended. That is a hard thing to do these days.
