ABOUT THE TRAINING

This transformational learning journey helps you define diversity in a meaningful way. It also helps explore biases that influence the hiring process.

We reshape hiring and sourcing approaches by training participants to use our proprietary strategy: the Colorful Connections Hiring Model (CCHM).

This tool strategically expands sourcing pools and challenges assumptions on who will be successful in a role. The approach produces a diverse group of candidates, even though we do not focus on protected characteristics (i.e., race and gender).

WHY YOU SHOULD SIGN UP

The CCHM was designed with employment laws in mind, creating a meaningful way to broaden talent pools to candidates from historically marginalized groups.

Investing in a diverse workforce is the right and smart thing to do. It leads to smarter innovation, improved employee policies, better decisions, and market expansion.

Stay committed to diversity hiring goals despite debate sparked by
2023 SCOTUS anti-affirmative action ruling. Influential social justice movements (#MeToo, #BlackLivesMatter, #StopAAPIHate, and #LGBTQIA) continue advocating for equitable hiring practices and stronger representation of diversity at all levels.

WHO IS THIS TRAINING FOR?

Anyone responsible for finding, hiring, interviewing talent, creating and updating job descriptions, as well as forecasting talent needs.

Recruiters, HR Managers, and hiring managers.

Recruiters can choose the in-depth version and receive hands-on guidance to immediately apply the Model to open roles. Leave with tangible takeaways and new sources to immediately apply to searches.

"I have been in Talent Acquisition for 5+ years and have overseen several different types of roles. One of the things that impresses me the most about this tool is it's capability to be used for any/all level roles because it is so relevant. I believe that the implementation of this tool could benefit any recruiter/team by encouraging extra steps to be taken to ensure that the recruitment process is impactful as possible."

- Kelly Klingbeil, Leadership Recruiter, Children's Wisconsin

"In addition to new or refreshed knowledge of DEI concepts, participants will leave with a tangible example of how to begin improving their DEI hiring practices: a first draft of a revamped job description."

- Angela Rosana Steinkamp, People Operations Manager, Brilliance Solutions
